Ultimate Spider-Man retells the story of how Peter Parker became Spider-Man. Most of us are familiar with how Peter got bitten by a spider, what happened to Uncle Ben, etc. Ultimate Spider-Man generally stays true to the story, but it does reinvent some things. Still, I think it’s worth a read.

READ THIS: Okay, so what happened was they decided to revamp Ultimate Spider-Man and call it Ultimate Comics Spider-Man. But the title only lasted an issue and by issue #2 they went back to Ultimate Spider-Man. ALSO, even though the numbering started at #1 again, when they got to #150 (which was the Spidey’s 150th Anniversary Special), the numbering went back to the three-digit (so 151, 152, etc.) If you’re confused by what I just said, just know this: read #1-15, then #150-160. Or basically in the order that I’m about to give it to you.

I was flipping through my comics and I realized, I’ve never really shown off my favorites~! (only really showing the collections that I have though, not a whole lot of individuals or else we’d be here forever)
First are my favorite ongoing issues, Fatale Star Wars : Dawn of The Jedi, The Red Lantern Corps, and The Walking Dead.
Second and third would be my favorite arcs, Green Lantern : Blackest Night, Green Lantern Corps : The Dark Side of Green, Batman : Hush (most of my collection is actually Batman, but I decided to pick this one because it was the first one that I read in full UvU), Thor, Tank Girl : Apocalypse, and Saga of The Swamp Thing book one.
And last but not least… I just think this is really neat ok.

Sketch for an art trade with a girl in my art class, Kat, (who is a fantastic artist btw) she wanted two birds, each with an exposed heart (like in the painting, ‘The Two Fridas’) and wanted them to be holding bits from the heart in the beaks, kind of like heart strings I guess?
Not entirely sure if this is exactly what she envisioned but I’m hoping she likes it C:
